In Eternal Memory of Eric Cech, Ananda’s Founder “The best business model I can hope for is one that will run out of business.” – Eric Cech Eric’s business mindset was otherworldly. He admitted in casual conversation to his wife Anita one day: “The best business model I can hope for is one that […]
It is with the deepest sorrow that we make this announcement.
Our beloved founder of the Ananda Apothecary, Eric Cech, has passed away. He chose to leave his human vessel last week and return to the Light.
The Ananda Apothecary was founded in 2004 by an absolute genius, environmental scientist, and human bodhisattva Eric Cech.
We will charter this unexpected course without our Captain and continue to live out his dream: to bring the finest, most exquisitely superior, and “true” essential oils we can find on this planet… And offer them at affordable and all-accessible prices direct to you.
Mr. Cech was a miraculous human being. 12 years ago, he survived a horrific car accident (hit by a car while on his bike) that caused monumental brain damage, of which he was not expected to survive.
He never fully recovered and suffered from it daily. Yet, it was in this post-accident phase of his life that Eric conceived and created the Ananda Apothecary.
His love for people healing and health mirrored that of what he literally was desiring for himself in his own life.
In honor of Eric, we will offer a memorial blend in the coming weeks. It will contain Eric’s most favorite oils: Helichrysum, Sandalwood, Myrrh, and Frankincense. And we will add a touch of Rose to honor the enormous heart and love he had for the planet and all humanity.
We will offer a portion of the proceeds from that blend to charity in his name.
Eric is survived by his wife, two step-children, and both of his parents. It may console you to know his immediate family is very clear of Eric’s vision for the Ananda Apothecary, and intend to act on his behalf.
We regret to bring you this news, as the loss of our leader is a great loss to us all. We ask for your patience and understanding during this time with us, as we are all still recovering from this devastating loss, and are slowly picking up all of the pieces and trying to regroup as best we can.
May we continue to be of service to you and may you forever find the healing and grace in your own lives to enjoy it all in great health.
