Reply To: Understanding the Blends and Recipes paragraph

I went to your blog and found a great deal of useful information. However, and you highlight it in your first paragraph, you did not answer my main question. I am certain that the answer to my question will be difficult to answer completely. But, as I said in my post, how do combine the aromas to get something that smells really good?

Using the idea of notes does not go far enough. You can follow the formula with oils you love but still get something that doesn’t smell good. Do you see what I’m saying? Besides experimentation, how do you go about finding aromas that SMELL good together? Is there some guidance out there somewhere?
