There is indeed a Blue Lotus essence, but it is an absolute not an essential oil. It is used in perfumery, just like you said. Not too long ago, specialists created a new class of top notes for their perfumes. That class is called “aquatic notes” and they’re used in perfumes that evoke the scent of sea or waterfalls.
You will find Blue Lotus mostly in men fragrances, but that’s not a rule though. Along with Blue Lotus absolute, there is also Blue Cypress and Samphire (or Sea Fennel) that can be used to evoke the same sea scent.
